Jenny Raff with Mr. Scott

Jenny (Kedzie) Raff is a graduate student working on a double PhD in Bio-anthropology and Genetics at Indiana University.

She started training in Tae Kwon Do in Missouri when she was seven years old.  Moving to Indiana at the age of thirteen, Jenny started training at Monroe
County Martial Arts alongside her younger sister, Julie Kedzie.

Jenny is extremely bright and a gifted martial artist.  She currently is a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has a rating as an Elite Instructor
in Sifu Jason Winkle's Martial Concepts training system.   She has "cross-trained" widely, and practiced a variety of different martial arts over the
years.  "She's one of the best kickers we've ever had," Mr. Scott reports, "and she's extremely strong.  She's a perfect combination of brains,
beauty, and brawn!"

Over the years Jenny has contributed a great deal to MCMA.  She's taught classes for over a dozen years, performed in countless demonstrations,
and put in extra effort in preparing black belt applicants for their tests.  She has taken an interest in teaching self-defense and kickboxing to
young women, and has taken on several private students.

In addition to her extra-curricular activities as a martial artist, Jenny is one of several "bat rehabilitation" volunteers in the state of Indiana. This
involves her taking injured adult or abandoned baby bats and nursing them back to health, eventually in the hope of returning them to their natural
habitat.  She cautions people, "Never handle a bat that you come across.   Call me instead!"

Jenny is very dear to her family at MCMA.  She and Julie have been a part of our school for over fifteen years.  They've helped contribute to
the growth and spirit of our school, and we wouldn't be where we are today without their love and support.
